Case Study B - Market Analysis
Our client, a small development
pharmaceutical company, had a number of
products and devices in the urological field,
which they intended to market throughout
Europe. In order to market these successfully
they needed to gain a broad understanding
of the key drivers in each market. In addition,
they needed to identify influencers in each
country as well as potential marketing partners.
PPRG conducted a market analysis
in each of 6 countries (Belgium, Netherlands,
France, Germany, Italy and Sweden). We were
able, over a 6 month period, to establish
the key drivers and advise on the likely
commercial uptake of each product in each
country.

Working in each country, we were able to
set up and conduct 1-1 interviews and formal
focus groups with key opinion leaders, private
community clinicians, nurses, nursing homes,
reimbursement authorities, pharmacists and
industry lobbyists.
The analysis produced was extremely valuable
to our client in developing their marketing
strategy, as well as identifying a number
of potential marketing partners.
