Case Study D - Congresses

PPRG were commissioned to submit proposals for a drug re-launch when important new clinical information was released.It was decided that PPRG should set up and execute a "Complete Project" congress in order to achieve the set objectives. This involved the following elements : -

• Developing scientific agenda for two-day International European congress
  and obtaining keynote speakers
• Obtaining the relevant post-graduate medical education accreditation
• Identifying & booking the appropriate venue
• Identifying and inviting KOL target delegates (150 persons)
• Arranging all delegate logistics – travel/accommodation etc
• Recording the meeting & producing congress proceedings
• Creating & managing the "social" programme

The congress was extremely successful and resulted in PPRG being retained to roll out
a programme of 10 regional congresses as a result.
